Can I change a subscription to Pay-as-you-go?

It’s not possible to change a subscription to Pay-as-you-go credits, as these are not equivalent. A subscription renews automatically on a monthly (or yearly) basis, while Pay-as-you-go credits don't expire, and it’s a one-time payment.

If you have a monthly plan, you can upgrade/downgrade it or cancel it at any time and later purchase Pay-as-you-go credits.

Pay-as-you-go credits can also be used with an active subscription—this way, they will remain as a backup and will only be used if you’re out of subscription credits.
